A repair movement, built for young people
We Repair for Youth brings repair culture and the circular economy to young people and youth workers — using Repair Cafés as a tool for social inclusion, green skills and participation in rural areas.
The partnership
Mountain Makers
Rural makerspace coordinating the project and the youth methodology.
Buinho
Rural creative hub leading the digital output — this platform and the Guide.
FabLab Cuenca
Small-town fab lab bringing technical repair expertise and local pilots.
Repair Cafés are free gatherings where people bring broken things and fix them together with volunteer helpers. They cut waste, pass on skills and build community. We Repair for Youth adapts the model for young people — as a route into green skills and belonging.
“Everyone's welcome at the bench.” Our priority is reaching young people in disadvantaged rural areas — with accessible, WCAG-AA learning in four languages.
